TAKE NOTICE an application for a Zoning By-law Amendment has been received affecting the property described above. The application was deemed complete on July 21, 2025 pursuant to Section 34 (10.4) of the Planning Act in accordance with the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990. O. Reg. 545/06 s. 5
Purpose and Effect: The subject application is proposing to rezone the above-noted property from Residential Zone Four (R4) to Special Institutional Zone (IN-sp) to support a 80.32 m2 addition to the existing church. The site-specific provisions requested are required to reduce the front yard depth from 7.5 m (25 ft) to 3.04 m (10 ft), rear yard depth from 7.5 m (25 ft) to 3.65 m (12 ft) and interior side yard width from 4.5 m (14.7 ft) to 0.43 m (1.5 ft) for a one-storey structure. The site-specific zoning will also reduce the required number of parking spaces from 20 to 11 parking spaces on site.

Municipality of North Perth Declares Significant Weather Event - January 22 2026
January 22, 2026– At 4:30 p.m. local time on January 22, 2026, the Municipality of North Perth officially declared a significant weather event as per Ontario Regulation 239/02. This declaration applies to all Municipality of North Perth roads and does not apply to provincial, county, or neighbouring municipal roadways. According to the Provincial regulation, the definition of a Significant Weather Event indicates there is “an approaching or occurring weather hazard with the potential to pose a significant danger to users of the highways within a municipality.”
All non-essential travel throughout the area is strongly discouraged. If citizens must travel, leave plenty of additional time and give snow plows extra space and distance to operate.
